Sundowners Flying Club is a nonprofit flying club based at Page Field (KFMY), Fort Myers, Florida. We provide a selection of four well-maintained aircraft at economical rates for our members to use for vacation and business trips, flight instruction, and just plane flying enjoyment!
Our planes are meticulously maintained, with no cost being spared, making for absolute safety. After all, we fly the most important people in our lives in these planes: ourselves and our families. We would like to invite you to become a member or our 50+ year old club and see for yourself the enjoyment that you will experience flying with the Sundowners.
Why Join Sundowners Flying Club?
Our cool planes!
We currently have a fleet of four aircraft: two later model Cessna C172’s and one C182 as well as a 6-seat Piper PA32 Cherokee available for your flying enjoyment. Our liberal reservation policy and reasonable rates will allow you to fly regularly!
Sundowner’s is proud to have multiple CFI’s as its members. They provide training for students as well as ongoing training for our pilot members. Proficiency and currency are critical for pilots and it’s reassuring to have easy access to excellent instruction.
Commitment to top quality, well maintained, fully IFR certified aircraft all with ADS-B in and out. We perform both 50-hour and 100-hour maintenace for all aircraft and our maintenance officer is meticulous about insuring that our aircraft are in tip-top condition!
At $50 per month our club dues are very reasonable and more than competitive. Our current rates are $136 per hour for our Cessna 172 Skyhawk’s, $173 per hour for our Cessna 182 Skylane, and $194 per hour for our PA32; fuel is included!
